Context
For 1 in 250 people, IBD is an invisible burden that they often don’t dare to talk about. Bowel urgency, an urgent need to use the restroom, is one of the most distressing symptoms, but rarely discussed. Lilly and CCV-vzw aimed to break this silence and create an open dialogue.
Insight
Stigma isolates IBD patients, making them feel alone in their struggles. However, humor and storytelling can destigmatize the condition and foster conversation. Social media insights showed that relatable content sparks engagement and awareness.
Solution
Poopcasts – The conversations You Can’t Hold In.
Together with Lilly and CCV vzw, we launched Poopcasts, a bold podcast series where IBD patients tackle their daily struggles with honesty and humor. The Poopcasts transformed a hidden issue into an open conversation, empowering patients and driving awareness.
